Bryan Pfeifer has had a long and influential career of the music scene. With his appearances at some of the nation's most beloved clubs, he has built a reputation for a consistent creative, popular DJ with wonderful musical journeys.

"Back in 1993, the weekend of Labor Day LA, my roommate and I drove up from San Diego and went to the Probe for the first time. That evening I experienced the artistry and talent of DJ Tom Johnson. I was blown away. Within the next year I managed to purchase a very old mixer board and a belt-driven turntable (yes, I said belt-driven). I already owned another belt driven turntable from my current stereo system - I connected it all together and started to teach myself how to mix.   One weekend, March of '96, Probe's Promoter Eddie Garretti needed a DJ at the last minute for the early shift at Probe. Eddie contacted me and I accepted, I then went to the bathroom to throw up. I was so nervous!  I played that night and caught the DJ bug. I knew from that moment I wanted to DJ for a living. I must say that I was very fortunate to fall into DJing at the time - many people gave me opportunities that are very hard to come by now-a-days. I am very thankful."

At a time when the DJ was attaining icon status by trying to play every club in the nation, Bryan maintained his focus on what others may have thought was a lesser goal, and that was to provide the best entertainment he could to the boys in his own backyard.  These were his friends and he knew no better audience than one in which he could see his friends having a good time.

Amongst his influences were "Tom Johnson who inspired me to learn to DJ, he was the Probe resident DJ for 7 years. I used to buy his tapes and then try to copy the mixes from song to song - it helped me understand music and how it should be orchestrated. Eventually I got to sit and talk with Tom about music and DJing - it was an earful. Later on it was Mike Duretto - I loved the way he could take a song and re-orchestrate it live. Many of the ways that I remix/edit a song is all because of the skills I learned from Mike Duretto. Thank you, Mike!"

By way of his residencies, they were being introduced to such favorites as San Diego's Montage, LA's Probe, Icon & Mickey's, and Laguna's Boom Boom Room and Woody's at the Beach, along with nearly every club in between.  Bryan has played major weekends such as San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego Gay Pride, Bryan has held the Title of being San Diego's favorite DJ for various years.

National fame and notoriety finally caught a hold of Bryan, in Dallas / San Francisco / Seattle / Phoenix / Province Town / Ohio / Salt Lake City / Denver / San Antonio / Palm Springs / Atlanta / Vancouver, yet as it draws him deeper and deeper,  Bryan still contends he is just "playing for my friends, watching them have a good time."
